To Report Spills or Release: 

Spill/Release Reporting Contact: First call 911, then contact El Segundo UPA at 310-524-2242. 

State and Federal Laws require release reporting. The El Segundo UPA is responsible for ensuring that persons, facilities, or businesses who are required by law or regulation to report a release in a timely manner. 

Any significant spill, unauthorized release, or other accidental release involving hazardous materials must be reported.

It is the responsibility of the person, facility or business that released or spilled the hazardous material or waste to contact the Environmental Safety Division, and/or California Office of Environmental Services to determine further actions.
