El Segundo Paramedics provide complete Emergency Medical Service (EMS) to the residents and business community of the City of El Segundo. We serve the community with two Paramedic rescue ambulances, each are staffed by two Firefighter/Paramedics, two advanced life support fire engines, an advanced life support truck and all Paramedic Assessment Units. We have an additional unstaffed fully accredited Paramedic rescue ambulance utilized as a replacement unit and can be utilized during increased call volume.

The Firefighter/Paramedics are licensed by the State and fully accredited by the County of Los Angeles. All Firefighter/Paramedics must complete a minimum of 48 hours of continuing education every two years and complete annual skills and educational updates.
